These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Workbench World website at workbenchworld.us (the "Site") and your purchase of products through the Site. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.

1. About Workbench World and This Storefront

Workbench World is an independent multi-brand specialist retailer for DeWalt and Ridgid power tools, focused on comparing products, service facts, and purchase details before checkout. We have served customers as an independent specialist since 2014, with a principal place of business at 4820 Industrial Parkway, Cleveland, OH 44135, United States.

The Workbench World storefront is operated by Benchline Trade Operations LLC, an independent retail operating company that manages the storefront, including order fulfillment, customer service, and quality assurance, under a management services agreement. Workbench World is not a manufacturer-owned or franchise entity and is not an official DeWalt or Ridgid brand store. DeWalt and Ridgid are trademarks of their respective owners, and any references to those brands on the Site are made only to identify the products we sell.

2. Eligibility and Use of the Site

By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us is accurate and current, including your name, shipping address, email address, and payment details.

3. Accounts

Certain features of the Site may allow you to create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or close an account if we believe it is being used in violation of these Terms.

4. Catalog Information and Product Listings

We make every effort to ensure that product listings are accurate and current. Before a listing is published, it is checked against the manufacturer's published specifications, model number, and included accessories, and we confirm that each product page matches the current generation of the product.

However, product availability and pricing can change. We do not guarantee that any particular product is available or that a listed price is current until your order is confirmed at checkout. We reserve the right to correct errors, update listings, and remove products at any time without prior notice.

5. Pricing and Promotions

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Prices vary by model, brand, and week because supplier costs, import fees, and promotional allowances change over time. We do not manipulate list prices to create fake discounts.

Our pricing reflects an independent retail operation without franchise or manufacturer-owned overhead, an e-commerce-first model with a compact physical footprint, and direct relationships with authorized distributors and regional supply partners. Promotions are funded from our merchandise budget and supplier cooperative marketing allowances. They never come from reducing product quality, altering warranty terms, or changing return conditions.

From time to time, we offer promotional codes. For example, the code WORKBENCH10 provides 10% off eligible items when applied at checkout; coupon eligibility follows the checkout rules displayed with the offer. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any promotion at any time. The price shown at checkout is the final price you pay, subject to applicable taxes and shipping charges.

6. Placing Orders and Order Acceptance

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation does not mean we have accepted your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we may decline or cancel any order in our sole discretion, including if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in pricing or product information, or if we suspect fraud or a violation of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed and shipped.

7. Payment Terms

We accept credit cards and PayPal. Full payment is due at the time you place your order. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method, and you authorize us to charge the full order amount shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and shipping fees. All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Standard shipping is $8.00. Orders over $45.00 qualify for free standard shipping. Shipping rates and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout before you place your order.

Risk of loss passes to you once the carrier delivers the order to the delivery address you provided. Please inspect your packages upon delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery record before signing.

9. Returns and Refunds

You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery for a refund, provided the items are in new condition with original packaging, manuals, and accessories included. To start a return, contact our customer support team at support@workbenchworld.us or by phone at +1 (216) 555-0174 to receive a return authorization. Returns without a return authorization may not be accepted.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Original shipping charges are generally not refunded unless the return is due to our error, the item is defective or not as described, or the item is proven not authentic under Section 11.

10. Warranty Information

Warranty coverage for the products we sell follows the manufacturer's product warranty. The store warranty provided by Workbench World is not equivalent to, and does not replace, the manufacturer's warranty, and we do not act as the manufacturer's warranty administrator.

11. Authenticity and Quality Commitment

Workbench World warrants that every product we sell is authentic, new, and sourced through authorized channels. We never sell counterfeit, refurbished, or repackaged items. All products are purchased from authorized distributors and regional supply partners that operate inside the manufacturers' authorized channels. We do not buy from auctions, clearance brokers, or independent sellers.

Quality controls

Inbound lots are spot-checked for packaging integrity, correct model designations, and the presence of factory manuals and batteries. Serial numbers are audited at the case level when supplied. Every listing is checked against the manufacturer's published specifications, model number, and included accessories before it is published.

If you have an authenticity or quality concern

When you receive your order, inspect the outer carton and sign only after noting any visible damage. For concealed damage, take photos and contact us promptly so we can begin a claim. To make a claim, provide us with the following:

• Your order number
• Model and serial number from the product label
• Photos of the product and packaging
• Email receipt or transaction reference
• A description of the issue

Our review process works as follows:

• A quality specialist acknowledges your claim within one business day.
• We review the photos and product details against manufacturer records.
• We may request additional evidence or serial confirmation.
• We respond with a resolution or next steps within three business days.

Remedy and resolution

If an item is proven not authentic, we will refund the full purchase price plus any original shipping charges, and we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

We resolve authenticity and quality issues as quickly as possible. If we cannot verify authenticity to your reasonable satisfaction, we will accept a return and issue a refund under the same conditions as our standard return process. This commitment is part of these Terms and remains fully in effect.

12. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, images, product photographs, software, and design — are the property of Workbench World, Benchline Trade Operations LLC, or their respective licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The "Workbench World" name and related branding may not be used without our prior written permission.

DeWalt and Ridgid are trademarks of their respective owners. Any reference to those or other third-party brands on the Site is for identification purposes only and does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship by those brand owners.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site. Specifically, you will not:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our servers, or other users' accounts;
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the Site without our prior written consent;
• Interfere with the operation of the Site, including introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or
• Use the Site to infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

14. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Site available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Site may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

15. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and all products sold through it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make any warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

We work to keep product images and descriptions accurate, but we do not warrant that every image or description is error-free. The manufacturer's warranty governs any defects in materials or workmanship, as described in Section 10. This disclaimer does not affect our authenticity and quality commitment in Section 11.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Benchline Trade Operations LLC and Workbench World will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or your purchase of products through the Site.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or any order placed through the Site is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product or products giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. This section does not limit our obligations under the authenticity and quality commitment in Section 11.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them, your use of the Site, or your purchase of products are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the date of the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
