DEWALT 1-3/4 in Spline Rotary Hammer D25652K
The DEWALT D25652K spline rotary hammer delivers 8 Joules of impact energy for serious drilling, chipping, and coring in concrete and masonry. Its spline drive is built for heavy-duty work, and the patent-pending e-clutch® system helps control sudden torque reactions when the bit binds. With 3-mode operation, the D25652K replaces both a rotary hammer and a chipping hammer—saving you space, money, and hauling weight.
DEWALT D25652K Features
- 8 Joules of impact energy for faster drilling in hard concrete
- e-clutch® minimizes sudden torque reaction on rebar and binds
- Shocks Active vibration control reduces hand fatigue
- Constant speed electronics maintain speed under load
- 3-mode operation: rotary hammer, drill, and chipping
- Variable speed dial for precise control
Spline Drive, Not SDS
This hammer uses a spline drive chuck, which is preferred for high-torque applications like #5-#8 rebar drilling and core drilling. If you already own spline bits, this hammer uses them; if you’re coming from an SDS tool, you’ll need spline bits. The spline system is especially common on heavier hammers because it stands up to serious drilling and demolition.
Comfort and Control
The active vibration control system works to reduce the effects of vibration, including numbness and tingling, so you can work longer without fatigue. The e-clutch is a real safety feature: when the bit binds up, it disengages rather than whipping the tool around. For horizontal overhead drilling and mid-wall chipping, this lightweight hammer keeps you in control.
Perfect for Rebar, Coring, and Chipping
Typical uses include anchoring and rebar drilling in high-psi concrete, coring for pipe and conduit, and chipping out old mortar. The 1-3/4 in capacity handles large bits with ease.
