I've been in construction for forty years, and this is the toughest box I've owned. The 16-gauge steel doesn't flex at all. The gas strut is a nice touch.
I use this in the back of my pickup. It's definitely tough and can take a beating. The seal keeps out light rain, but I wouldn't trust it in a flood. The lid is heavy when opening, but the strut helps. It fits a lot of tools and the lock has a nice positive click. For the price, I'm happy.
