The DEWALT DCB606 FLEXVOLT battery is a smart, high-capacity pack that changes voltage when you change tools. In a 20V MAX tool, it delivers 6.0Ah of runtime; in a 60V MAX or 120V MAX tool, it reconfigures to supply the higher voltage. This 2-pack gives you two batteries to power your entire DEWALT platform, from drills to circular saws.
DCB606 works with all DEWALT 20V MAX tools, as well as 60V MAX and 120V MAX tools. It's also backwards compatible with existing 20V MAX chargers. This means you can use the same battery across your job site without managing separate packs.
If your DCB606 doesn't charge or shows a blinking light, first inspect the battery contacts and the charger. Ensure the ambient temperature is between 40°F and 105°F. Use only DEWALT chargers designed for FLEXVOLT batteries. If the issue persists, the battery may need service—contact Workbench World for help.

The DCB606 detects the tool you've inserted it into and automatically reconfigures its internal wiring. In a 20V MAX tool, it acts as a 6Ah battery; click it into a 60V MAX tool and it switches to 2Ah for high-power output. This eliminates the need to buy different batteries for different voltage platforms.
To keep your DCB606 packs healthy, avoid fully draining them before recharging. Lithium-ion batteries last longer with partial discharges. Store them between charges at 30-50% capacity if you won't use them for long periods. Use only DEWALT chargers, which are designed to safely balance and protect the cells.
The DCB606 works with all DEWALT 20V MAX drills, drivers, saws, grinders, and more. In 60V MAX tools like the circular saws and angle grinders, it provides the higher voltage these tools need. For 120V MAX tools, two FLEXVOLT batteries combine to deliver the power for heavy-duty machines.
