Worth it for anyone with a crew

I've been in the trades for 30 years, and losing tools has always been a problem. This chip lets me know what's on the truck without digging around. Setup was simple, and the app makes sense. Battery life is decent. The only thing is you need chip-ready tools, but most of my newer Dewalt stuff has the slot.
