This black heated vest is part of the DEWALT Heated Jacket lineup and gives you the option of wearing it as a vest, or attaching the removable sleeves to convert it into a jacket. It runs on DEWALT 20V MAX or 12V MAX batteries – batteries are not included, so you can use the same rechargeable batteries you already own for other DEWALT tools. Four core heating zones warm the left and right chest, mid-back, and collar. A durable water- and wind-resistant cotton twill shell offers protection from the elements, and an LED controller lets you switch between three heat settings. A built-in USB power source can also charge your phone or other small devices on the job.

This 'bare' vest does not include a battery or charger. It is compatible with DEWALT 20V MAX and 12V MAX batteries, giving you flexibility depending on which DEWALT battery platform you use. Battery run time depends on the battery capacity and heat setting – a larger 20V MAX battery will run longer than a compact 12V MAX pack.

Three temperature settings give you control for changing conditions. The LED controller glows to show the current level, with pre-heat and constant modes depending on the generation. The low setting offers a gentle warmth that extends battery life, while medium and high output provide fast, powerful heat for the coldest days. Wearing and Layering the DCHJ065B-L
This vest/jacket works well as a mid-layer under a hard shell or as an outer layer on dry, cold days. The water- and wind-resistant cotton twill blocks light moisture, but it's not a waterproof rain shell. When it's extremely cold, layer it over a base layer and under a waterproof insulated jacket. The four pockets include an inside left chest pocket with a port for charging a phone, making it easy to keep a device warm and powered.
