The DEWALT DCS361B 20V MAX 7-1/4-inch cordless sliding miter saw is made for pros and serious DIYers who want accurate cuts anywhere on the job site. As part of the DEWALT 20V MAX system, it uses the same batteries and chargers as your other DEWALT tools. With a sliding head and 7-1/4-inch blade, it handles baseboard, crown, and framing cuts with ease, yet stays compact and manageable at just 30 lbs.
This saw is designed to keep you productive. The integrated cut line cross-cut positioning system gives you a clear, adjustment-free line of cut, so you can make precise miters without fiddling with lasers. The adjustable stainless steel miter detent plate features 11 positive stops, so common angles click in quickly. The cam lock miter handle speeds up adjustments, and the oversized bevel scale makes compound angle changes easy to read.
On a fully charged 20V MAX battery, the DCS361B can make up to 183 cuts in 2x4 pine or 275 cuts in 3-1/4-inch baseboard. It cuts 3-5/8-inch nested crown and 3-1/2-inch base vertically, which covers most interior trim work. The machined base fence supports accurate, repeatable cuts, and the sliding action lets you handle wider workpieces.
When it's time to swap the blade, always disconnect the battery first. Use the spindle lock to keep the arbor from spinning, then loosen the arbor bolt with the included wrench (check the DCS361B manual for the correct wrench size and torque). Install a new 7-1/4-inch blade with the rotation arrows facing the correct direction, tighten securely, and test the blade guard before use. If you don't have the original manual, contact Workbench World support and we'll help you track one down.
At 30 pounds, the saw is light enough to carry between work areas, and its compact design fits easily into tight spaces. Pair it with a DEWALT 20V MAX battery (not included) and you've got a complete cutting station without dragging a cord.

The DCS361B runs on the same 20V MAX batteries as your drill, impact driver, and circular saw. Keep a couple of fresh batteries on hand and you can move from fastening to cutting without breaking out a generator or extension cord.
A sliding miter saw's head moves forward and backward, letting you cut wider boards than a fixed head saw with the same blade size. The 7-1/4-inch blade on this saw keeps the tool compact, while still giving you the crosscut capacity for baseboard and trim.
Keep the stainless steel detent plate clean and the detents free of sawdust so the angles stay accurate. Check the blade for dullness or pitch buildup; a sharp blade reduces strain and delivers cleaner cuts. Store the saw with the head locked in the down position to protect the slide.
The DCS361B ships as tool only, including the saw body, blade, and blade wrench. Batteries and chargers are sold separately, so you can build your kit around the batteries you already own.
Disconnect the battery, press and hold the arbor lock, loosen the arbor bolt with the included wrench, remove the old blade, install a new 7-1/4-inch blade with the arrows pointing in the correct direction, and tighten. See the DCS361B manual for torque specs.
The printed manual is included with the saw. You can also download a PDF from DEWALT's support site; if you need help locating it, contact Workbench World support.
It runs on all DEWALT 20V MAX batteries, including non-XR and XR models. The 5.0Ah battery is a popular choice for longest runtime.
Yes, it can cut 3-5/8-inch nested crown and 3-1/2-inch base vertically, so it handles common trim work on job sites.

Powerful and portable.
This saw is accurate and easy to set up. The sliding feature is smooth. I can make precise cuts.
As a trim carpenter, I need a miter saw that I can take to different floors. This cordless one is a game-changer. The cut quality is just as good as my corded saw. The batteries last long enough for about 100 cuts per charge, which is plenty for a day of trim. The slide mechanism is smooth and the detents are precise. The only downside is that it's heavy, but that's expected for a 7-1/4-inch saw. Overall, I'm very impressed and it's become my go-to saw.
I bought this to cut baseboards. It's easy to maneuver and set up. The battery lasts a while. I'm happy with the purchase.
I use it on job sites without power. It's very reliable. The included blade is sharp. The sliding function is smooth. It's a bit pricey, but worth it.
This saw is exactly what I needed. It cuts accurately and the battery doesn't die quickly. It's compact. I love the LED light.
It's an excellent saw, but it weighs a lot. I use it in my workshop, so portability isn't a big issue. The cut is clean. The battery from my drill works, which is a plus.
I've used many miter saws, and this is one of the best. The sliding rails are sturdy. The kerf is clean. It's a beast. Recommend it.
I'm a hobbyist and this saw is a dream. It's easy to use. The bevel adjustments are straightforward. I can do crown molding now. Very happy.
It cuts well. The battery life is acceptable. I wish it had a laser guide, but I get by. It's a solid saw for the price.
I use it for remodeling. It's portable and powerful. The dust bag collects most of the debris. I can work anywhere. Definitely worth it.
I've been a woodworker for 50 years. This is a fine saw. It's quiet and smooth. The battery technology has come a long way. I'm glad I switched to cordless.
