I use these for general fab work in my garage. They cut through angle iron quickly and don't glaze over as fast as the cheap ones. The 6-inch diameter fits my guard, but be sure your tool's guard is set for a 6-inch wheel. It lasts about twice as long as the big-box house brand. The only downside is the arbor is 7/8 inch, so you might need a reducer. Overall, a good value.
