The DEWALT DWA4769 10-Inch Continuous Rim Glass Tile Blade is built for clean, controlled cuts in glass and ceramic tile. Its dense diamond mix along the continuous rim reduces chipping and tile breakout, while the 5/8-inch arbor fits most tile saws. Designed for wet cutting at up to 6,000 RPM, this blade is a reliable choice for glass subway tile, porcelain, and ceramic tile work.
The concentrated diamond edge stays sharp through long cuts and produces a smooth edge with minimal chipping on the face of the tile. This is especially important for glass tile, where breakout can ruin a piece.
Running the blade with water keeps the diamond bond cool and flushes away glass and ceramic dust. The continuous rim design supports steady, splinter-free cutting on a wetsaw.
The 10-inch size gives a deep cutting depth on standard wetsaws, and the 5/8-inch arbor matches most tile saw spindles and adapters.
Use it for glass mosaic tile, ceramic wall tile, porcelain floor tile, and even thin stone. DIYers will appreciate the clean edges on visible cuts; pros will like the predictable performance on longer production runs.

A continuous rim blade is the best choice for glass and polished tile because the smooth rim helps prevent edge chipping. Segmented blades are better for rough stone or concrete, where faster removal matters more than edge finish. For glass and ceramic, the DWA4769 gives you the smooth edge you need without frequent dressing.
Always mount the blade with the arrow pointing in the rotation direction. Set the saw guide for the tile thickness, turn on the water first, and push the tile through at a moderate speed. Let the blade maintain its own speed—do not force the material into the blade.
Inspect the diamond rim periodically for flat spots or cracks. If you see glazing, dress the blade with an abrasive block or brick to expose fresh diamond. Replace the blade when the rim is worn down to the steel core.
No, this blade is specifically designed for wet cutting. Running it dry can overheat the diamond bond and reduce blade life, so use water whenever possible.
Most tile saws and wet saws with a 10-inch blade capacity and 5/8-inch arbor will accept this blade. Check your saw’s arbor and flange size.
Yes, porcelain is a dense ceramic material, and the continuous rim diamond blade works well for porcelain and glass tile when used wet.
Use a firm, steady feed, keep water flowing on the cut, and let the blade do the work—don’t force it. The dense diamond mix already minimizes chipping.

Perfect cuts, dude.
Cuts glass without chipping. The rim is smooth. I only wish it lasted a bit longer.
I've been installing tile for 25 years, and I've tried just about every blade out there. This DEWALT continuous rim blade gives the cleanest cuts in glass and ceramic that I've seen. It runs true on my wet saw without wobble. The 5/8 arbor fit perfectly. After 60 linear feet of cutting, the diamond rim shows barely any wear. I appreciate that it doesn't overheat even on long cuts. It's a bit expensive, but when you factor in how many tiles you save from chipping, it pays for itself. I keep one on the truck at all times.
I used this on porcelain tile and it didn't chip at all. The wet cut is clean. I've done 40 cuts so far and it still looks new.
I'm not a pro, just did my backsplash. This blade made it easy. The cuts were clean. It's pricey but worth it if you only need a few tiles.
This blade is the best I've used for glass tile. No chips, no cracks. My edges are perfect.
