It keeps most of the dust out of your face, which is huge for your lungs. I run it with a DEWALT extractor and it works like a charm. The 4-foot hose isn't super long, but it's enough for most jobs. You do need to empty your vac more often because it catches so much. It's worth the investment for your health. I'd buy it again.
