Start with low speed (800–1,200 RPM) for applying polish or wax, then increase for compounding or cutting. The variable dial lets you set a top speed, and the trigger allows momentary control.
Always use a backing pad that matches the size of your disc. Never force the pad against a curved surface at an extreme angle. Make sure the wool pad is properly installed and not worn.
