The DEWALT DXBC18004 ratchet tie-down straps are built for light- and medium-duty cargo hauling. Each 1.25" x 12' strap has an 1,800 lb break strength and coated steel S-hooks that resist corrosion and won't scratch your vehicle or cargo.
Threading the strap is quick once you know the motion: fully open the ratchet handle, insert the strap through the slot in the winding spool, pull the strap tight to remove slack, then close the handle back and forth to crank down the tension. Press the reinforced release pad to loosen and release.
The coated black steel ratchet resists corrosion in wet conditions, and the armored side caps keep debris out of the mechanism. The highly visible black-and-yellow webbing stays readable even after years of sun exposure.
