The DW5446 is a 1/2-inch bit ideal for lighter anchor and shelf installations. The DW5469 is a 1-1/8-inch bit for heavy-duty anchor drilling and larger conduits. Pick the diameter to match the anchor or fastening you're installing.
If you encounter rebar while drilling with the DW5446, reduce pressure and let the hammer action do the work. If the bit seems to be binding, back off and use a metal drill bit at that location, then continue with the masonry bit.
