These dies are exactly what I needed for my RIDGID threader. They're sharp and cut clean threads on 1/2 and 3/4 black pipe. The alloy seems tough, so far no dulling after a dozen cuts. They fit my universal die head perfectly. The set includes 4 dies, all labeled clearly. I'm very satisfied with the quality.
Good dies, they thread well. The only issue is they didn't come in a case, just a plastic bag. But that's minor.

My husband uses these in his plumbing business and he says they match the original RIDGID dies. They cut smoothly and the threads come out clean. He's been through a few sets of cheap dies and these are far better. The only reason for 4 stars is that one die had a tiny chip, but it still works fine. I'd buy again for sure.

I'm a pipefitter and these dies work well, but they are a bit pricey. The threads are standard NPT and the sharpness is good. They fit my Ridgid universal die head without any adapter. My only complaint is the lack of a storage case, so one die got slightly scratched in my toolbox. But performance is top notch.
These are probably the best dies I've owned. They cut 3/4 pipe like butter. Highly recommend.
