I've owned many rotary hammers in my career, from Hilti to Bosch, and this DEWALT holds its own. The L-shape design gives you better control when drilling overhead. The 2.8 joules of impact energy are plenty for most tasks. I particularly like the three modes—drill, hammer, and hammer drill. It makes it versatile for different materials. The carrying case is also of high quality. It's a bit heavy, but that's expected for a tool of this class. Overall, a reliable workhorse.
