The DEWALT DCA16200 is a 2,500-count box of 2-inch, 16-gauge, 20-degree angled finish nails built for finish carpenters, trim installers, and DIYers who need a dependable fastener. These hot-dip galvanized nails are cold-worked carbon steel, helping them resist rust and moisture while driving consistently through trim, casing, and baseboards.
Whether you're installing crown molding, door casing, or custom shelving, the 20-degree angle and 16-gauge thickness offer a strong hold without splitting typical trim woods. The angled collation suits many popular 20-degree finish nailers, and the 2-inch length gives you enough bite for thick trim while staying trim-friendly.
Hot-dip galvanizing adds a robust zinc coating that stands up to moisture, so these nails can be used in areas where humidity or light exterior exposure is a concern. The cold-worked carbon steel core provides consistent stiffness for straight driving.
With 2,500 nails per box, you can keep working through large rooms, multiple windows, or whole-house trim without constant reloads. Consistent collation and sharp points reduce jams and improve drive quality.

Yes, 2-inch nails are commonly used for 5/4 stock, casing, and baseboard where you need solid holding power without excessive length.

Nails drive perfectly.
I used these with my Dewalt finish nailer for baseboards and crown molding. They feed reliably and the galvanized coating is a nice touch for exterior work. No jams in 2500 nails.
I've been a carpenter for 35 years and I'm picky about fasteners. These 16-gauge finish nails are consistent in size and shape. The hot-dip galvanizing is good for treated lumber and outdoor trim. I did find a few bent nails in the box, maybe 5 or 6 out of 2500, which is acceptable. They drive flush and hold well. My only minor complaint is the box is a bit hard to open, but that's not the nails' fault. Overall a great value for the price.
I'm a hobbyist and these nails work fine in my brad nailer. They're long enough for trim. Good price for the count.
I run a trim crew and we go through a lot of nails. These are our go-to for base and casing. They load in the magazine without issues and the collation is solid. The galvanized finish means we can also use them on exterior shutters. We've had maybe one jam per thousand, which is normal. The 2500 count box lasts us a couple of weeks. Highly recommend for pros.
These nails are okay for the price. I had a few more bent ones than I expected. They still worked, but I prefer another brand if I need perfection.
Good nails, no jams. I'll buy again.
