SKU : WOR-TOO-503
The DEWALT DCH273P2 20V Max XR Brushless 1-inch SDS Rotary Hammer with 5.0Ah Batteries is a high-performance cordless hammer drill built for demanding concrete work. Its brushless motor and German-engineered mechanism produce 2.1 joules of impact energy, making quick work of holes in concrete, masonry, and brick. With SHOCKS Active Vibration Control, this rotary hammer reduces handle vibration significantly, so you can drill longer and stay in control.
Weighing in on the light side, the DCH273P2 is ideal for overhead drilling and repetitive work. The rotating dial lets you switch between three modes – drill, hammer drill, and chip – so you can use the same tool for multiple tasks.
When paired with the DWH303DH On-Board Dust Extractor (sold separately), this rotary hammer becomes OSHA Table 1 compliant. That means you can contain silica dust at the source, protecting your health and meeting job-site requirements. The dust extractor attaches directly to the tool, so there's no extra hose to trip over.
Setting up the DWH303DH dust extractor is straightforward: align it with the tool's dust port and lock it in place. A detailed instruction sheet is included. For the full DCH273P2 user manual, refer to the printed manual in the box – it covers operating modes, maintenance, and parts diagrams. If you need a replacement PDF, DeWalt's support website hosts the latest version.

At just over 7 pounds with battery, this rotary hammer is light enough for overhead rod hanging and seismic anchoring. The SHOCKS Active Vibration Control reduces vibration at the handles, so your hands and arms stay fresher longer.

This hammer is a beast.
Drilled 50 holes in concrete without slowing down. Battery lasted longer than I thought.
I'm a contractor and I've been using this rotary hammer for six months now. It has replaced my corded unit on most jobs. The vibration control actually works; my hands don't feel like they're being shaken apart. The two batteries are a nice touch, though I wish they were the 6Ah version. It drills through rebar like butter. The only issue is the dust, but that's normal for any hammer. Overall, it's a solid investment.
Great power, low vibes.
Used it to hang shelves on concrete. The hammer drill function is surprisingly strong. No complaints.
I'm 72 and still do small jobs around the house. This rotary hammer made drilling into my basement walls a lot easier. It's not too heavy and the handle is comfortable. The battery charges quickly. I just wish the chuck came with an extra key, but that's fine. All in all, a very good tool.
Bought this for a bathroom remodel. Drilled through tile and concrete with zero effort. Battery life is decent.
