Green beams are easier to see than red beams in naturally lit rooms, but even the brightest beam struggles in direct sunlight. When you work outside, switch to pulse mode and pair the laser with the DW0892G detector. The detector reads the pulsed beam and gives you an audible and visual center point for accurate layout up to 100 ft away.

I'm a contractor, and I've used many laser levels. This one is my favorite. The green beam is much easier to see in bright conditions than red. The 3x360 coverage means I can set up once and do an entire room layout without moving the unit. The included batteries and charger are a plus. However, the case is a bit bulky, but that's minor. Overall, excellent value for the price.
I bought this for my workshop. It's incredibly accurate and the self-leveling feature works perfectly.
