This thing is a monster. It snapped off lug nuts that were rusted on. The detent pin works well.

I've been an auto mechanic for 20 years, and this impact wrench is a workhorse. The 7.5-amp motor delivers enough torque to break free any stubborn bolt. The 3/4-inch detent pin anvil is durable and holds sockets securely. It's heavy, but that's fine when you need power. The variable speed trigger gives good control. I've used it daily and it never overheats. The only annoyance is the cord, but that's expected from a corded tool. Highly recommended for any shop.

Strong wrench, worth it.

I'm a weekend warrior and I needed an impact wrench for my project car. This thing is overkill, but that's okay. It zips off bolts like they're nothing. The cord is a bit short, so I need an extension cord, but that's fine. It's heavy, so resting it helps. I used it to take off a stuck crank pulley bolt and it came right off. The detent pin is a bit old-school, but it works. I'm happy with this purchase.
