For thin sheet metal and tubing, choose a higher TPI like 24 to get a smoother, cleaner cut. For thicker solid stock, you might prefer a lower TPI, but this 24 TPI blade is still effective up to about 1/4-inch steel. Understanding TPI helps you get the most from every blade.
