The DEWALT DW4309 5-Inch 8-Hole 80 Grit Hook-and-Loop Sandpaper (25-Pack) is the everyday workhorse for random orbit sanders. The premium aluminum oxide grain cuts aggressively while the stearate coating resists gum-up, so your discs stay effective longer on wood, paint, and primer. The chemically treated backing resists tearing, and the resin adhesive holds up against heat build-up – even on extended sanding runs. Designed to fit 5-inch sanders with an 8-hole dust extraction pattern.

Compatible sanders

These discs fit any 5-inch random orbit sander with an 8-hole dust pattern, including the DEWALT DWE6423, DWE6421, DCW210, and most other major brands with the same hole layout. Hook-and-loop backing keeps the disc securely attached and lets you swap grits in seconds.

Sanding tips

Start with a coarser grit (60-80) to remove old finishes or level surfaces, then move to 120 and 220 for a smooth final pass. The 80-grit in this pack is ideal for aggressive material removal while leaving a moderately smooth surface.
