RIDGID 36900 1-Inch Die Head: Fast, Accurate Threading

RIDGID built the 36900 with durability in mind. The alloy body protects the dies and maintains alignment, so each thread comes out clean and uniform. The included 00-R alloy dies are ground for sharp, consistent cutting, and they handle both black pipe and galvanized pipe.

Compatible with RIDGID Power Drive and Ratchet Handles

The die head mounts on RIDGID power drive machines (such as 1224 and 1248 models) for machine threading, and it also works with the compatible RIDGID hand ratchet handles. If you're using a manual ratchet, confirm your handle has a 1-inch die head capacity.

Like the old days, but better

I've been turning pipe since the late 70s, and this die head is as good as my old one. The high-speed dies are sharp out of the box and cut clean NPT threads on schedule 40. It locks onto the pipe and doesn't wander. I used it with my RIDGID 300 and it fit perfectly. If you do pipe work, this is a solid buy.
