I use this in my workshop. It's powerful and the HEPA filter is the real deal. Very pleased.
In my 30 years of woodworking, I've gone through three shop vacuums. This RIDGID with 14 gallons and HEPA filtration is a different animal. It picks up fine dust without blowing it back into the air. The two-stage motor has plenty of power. The hose is long enough to reach around my garage. Emptying it is easy. I just wish it came with more attachments, but that's minor.
It's a beast and it's heavy. But it cleans up after my saw beautifully. The HEPA filter really catches the fine stuff.
