This saw cuts fast and the compact size gets into tight spots. The battery lasts a good while. I've used it on several jobs already.
I've been a remodeling contractor for 25 years and this recip saw is a workhorse. The brushless motor gives it plenty of power and the 5.0 battery is enough for most cutting jobs. It fits between studs and other awkward places that my older saw wouldn't. The keyless blade change is quick and safe. I was skeptical about the compact size but it hasn't let me down. It's lighter than my corded saw too, which my shoulder appreciates. Solid buy for anyone needing a reliable saw.

I bought this to replace an old corded saw and it's night and day. The power is impressive for such a compact tool. The battery charges quickly and the saw feels balanced. It's become my go-to for demo work. Only downside is the blade guard can stick sometimes, but a little oil fixed it.
