Meet the DEWALT D24000S 10-Inch Wet Tile Saw—the tool for tile layers and remodelers who need precision and portability. This 69-pound saw is built around a stainless steel rail system that's integrated into the frame, ensuring straight, splinter-free cuts on porcelain, ceramic, stone, and large-format tile. The folding stand sets up in seconds and carries the saw like a wheelbarrow, so one person can transport and install it without breaking a sweat. With a 1.5 HP motor and a 10-inch blade, it powers through 18x18-inch diagonal cuts and handles up to 3-1/8 inch deep material.
The D24000S uses a 10-inch XP4 porcelain blade, a submersible pump, and a water pan with side and rear trays to keep overspray controlled. The cutline indicator and stainless steel rollers let you see exactly where the blade tracks, so you can achieve cuts within 1/32 inch over 18-inch strokes—impressive for on-site work.
Proper blade alignment is key to square cuts and prolonged blade life. For the D24000S, start by adjusting the motor plate alignment and the cutting cart. Use the included blade wrench to loosen the arbor nut and reposition the blade if it runs out of true. Check that the blade is parallel to the cart travel at both the front and rear of the table. Many professionals verify alignment with a dial indicator; a simpler method is to mark a line on the table and make a test cut, then measure the cut width at the table edge. If the cut isn't even, loosen the four mounting bolts on the motor plate and shim as needed. Always unplug the saw before making adjustments.
The integrated stand folds flat, and the saw's compact frame lets you wheel it through doorways and into a vehicle with the attached wheels. The water tray secures to the frame to prevent spills during transport. Setup is a matter of unfolding the legs, placing the saw on the stand, filling the water pan, and plugging in the pump. No assembly tool required beyond a foot pump.

The D24000S was engineered for large-format tile, which demands straight, clean cuts over long distances. The stainless steel rail system doesn't flex under load, and the rollers keep tiles moving smoothly. You'll spend less time grinding edges and more time setting tile.
Overspray from very large tiles can create puddles on the jobsite. This saw includes side and rear water trays that catch runoff and channel it back to the pump. The water pan is easy to drain and clean.
Using a diamond blade that's appropriate for your material prevents glazing. Keep the water flow consistent to cool the blade and carry away slurry. After every few saws, check the arbor nut torque—vibration can loosen it. The included wrench fits the arbor and motor shaft.
Adjust the motor plate mounting bolts so that the blade is parallel to the cart rails. Use a dial indicator or perform a test cut and measure the width from the edge. Tighten all bolts securely. See the manual for tolerances. Always disconnect power first.
The 18-inch diagonal cut capacity, side extension cart, and adjustable water trays keep large format tile supported and controlled during the cut, preventing chipping.
Yes, as long as it's a 10-inch wet-cutting blade with a 5/8-inch arbor and is rated for the RPM of this motor. The included XP4 blade is optimized for porcelain and large ceramic.
Yes, the D24000S includes the folding stand designed specifically for this saw. It locks into place and has wheels for easy transport.

Heavy duty cutter, accurate.
I'm a retired mason. This saw has seen daily use on two big jobs. The stainless rail doesn't bind, the cutline indicator is dead-on, and the folding stand is stable. The pump has run dry a few times and still works. I've cut porcelain and marble with the stock blade and got clean edges. The only thing I did was add a Teflon pad to the tray to keep small pieces from slipping. This is a keeper.
We used this to remodel our kitchen. The 18x18 tile capability is real. The cuts are straight and the saw doesn't wobble. It is heavy to move, though.
The water system works great. Very little slurry mess. The stand folds up in seconds. Great saw for the money.
Rips through tile, but spray is messy.
I had never used a wet saw before. My neighbor recommended this one. The instructions were easy to follow. It took me an afternoon to lay a new backsplash, and every cut was smooth. The cutline guide is wonderful for someone with shaky eyesight. I just wish the tray were bigger. Otherwise, I'm delighted.
Solid saw, but the pump needs bleeding. Common issue, easy fix. It tears through tile but the stand could be sturdier.
As a contractor, I need a saw that travels. This one folds flat and rolls on the attached wheels. It takes less than five minutes to set up. The rip fence is accurate and the laser guide is actually useful. I've cut 24-inch porcelain with no chipping. The price is high, but it pays for itself. Great tool.
The saw cuts okay, but the water tank is a pain to empty. And the drain is placed badly, so it spills. The folding stand is great, though. For weekend jobs I'd rather rent one. But if you have a lot of tile, it's a good tool.
I've had mine for 5 years and it still starts first time. Replaced the blade twice. The frame is solid, cuts true. Can't ask for more.
