Pairing is straightforward: turn on the speaker, enable Bluetooth on your phone, and select DCR010. It remembers previously paired devices, so it reconnects automatically when powered on within range. The control panel on the top lets you adjust volume and skip songs, and the power button doubles as a pairing button when held down.
This speaker runs on DEWALT 20V MAX batteries (sold separately). A fully charged 5Ah battery gives you roughly 8–10 hours of playtime at moderate volume, and the USB port can charge your phone even while the speaker is running. If you notice the battery draining faster than expected, check the battery health—and avoid leaving the speaker in a hot vehicle, which can reduce battery life.
If the speaker does not pair, remove it from the Bluetooth list on your phone, then press and hold the power button for five seconds to re-enter pairing mode. If the battery drains quickly, make sure the speaker is fully off when not in use, not just in standby. The LED indicators on the top also help you verify the connection and power status.
