I'm a college student doing woodworking for the first time, and this sander is so easy to use. It's low profile and comfortable.
I refinished an old dresser and this sander made it so much easier than my palm sander. The variable speed lets me match the grit. It is easy to hold, but the 1/4 sheet size means more sanding time on big flat surfaces. The dust collector keeps most of the mess trapped. Battery life is okay for small projects. I would recommend it for detail work, not for large panels.
Works well and is quiet. It fits my hand nicely. The only downside is that paper isn't included.
