The DEWALT DWST82824 Power Tool Wall Cabinet brings workshop-grade organization to your garage, shop, or job trailer. Built from heavy-duty welded steel and proudly made in the USA with global materials in Sedalia, Missouri, this cabinet holds up to 500 lb when mounted directly to wall studs (200 lb on a DEWALT metal rail). It includes five power tool slots with non-slip coating, a top shelf, and a half-depth steel shelf with two positions for flexible storage. The keyed internal locking system keeps your tools safe, and a magnetic power strip with six outlets and dual USB ports lets you charge batteries and electronics right on the cabinet. It is compatible with the DEWALT Workshop Storage System and can be mounted to the DWST82800 metal rail or directly to the wall. This is a smart upgrade for anyone who wants their power tools off the bench and easy to grab.
DEWALT DWST82824 Installation: Wall or Rail Mounting
Choose a mounting location with studs spaced no more than 16 in on center.
Use the included hardware to secure the cabinet through the back panel into wall studs; or install the DWST82800 rail (sold separately) and hang the cabinet on it.
Ensure the cabinet is level before setting the internal shelves.
Plug the magnetic power strip into a nearby outlet and route cords neatly.
Load tools into the non-slip slots and set batteries/chargers on the top shelf.
Locking Storage and Power Strip Integration
The keyed internal lock secures the cabinet door and protects your investment. The magnetic power strip can be placed on the cabinet or moved to a nearby metal surface, so outlets are where you need them. Charge batteries and power small electronics without running a separate power strip across the shop.

Product Details
Organize Your Power Tools: Slots, Shelves, and Charging
Use the five non-slip slots for drills, impacts, saws, and other cordless tools. The top shelf fits chargers and batteries, while the half-depth shelf can be repositioned to fit bulky accessories. The built-in power strip keeps everything charged in one place.
Installation Options: Rail vs. Wall Direct
Direct wall mounting gives you the highest weight capacity and a permanent installation. If you already use a DEWALT metal rail system, the cabinet can be hung on the rail and removed easily for reconfiguration. Choose the method that suits your shop layout.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mount the DWST82824 without the DEWALT rail?

Great for workshop
I bought this for my husband's workshop. It holds all his power tools and keeps them locked up. The power strip is a nice bonus.
