The DEWALT DW0822LR 12V MAX Laser Level combines two spot beams and a cross line in a rugged body built for the jobsite. This laser is compatible with DEWALT 12V MAX batteries (not included) and offers dual mounting options: a magnetic bracket with pivoting thread mount and standard 1/4-20 and 5/8-11 threads. The raised magnetic front panel lets you mount to steel studs, conduit, or acorn nuts with clearance. The DW0822LR is factory calibrated, but it’s a good practice to verify the laser periodically. To check, place the unit on a level surface, project a horizontal line onto a wall, mark a point, then rotate the laser 180° and compare. If the line shifts by more than the rated accuracy, the unit should be serviced. Always make sure the pendulum is unlocked and the laser is settled before taking a measurement.

I've been a contractor for 30 years and this is a reliable little laser. The IP65 rating is nice for dusty sites. It holds calibration well. It's a good addition to my bag.
The laser works well, but the red beam is hard to see in bright rooms. Indoors it's fine. I'd recommend the green version if you work outside.
It makes leveling pictures and shelves a one-person job. The spots are accurate. The magnetic mount is handy.
I had an older laser that needed a wall adapter. This one uses batteries and is much more portable. The accuracy is spot on. Would recommend.
